Halloween Party!

Jarrett and I went to a couples Halloween party. A lot of the couples in our ward were there. We ate and played games. We went as Bret Micheals and Cyndi Lauper. This picture isn't the best but Jarrett looked really 80's! You also can't see my killer leg warmers! We had really good time! It was really fun to get dressed up!

Honeymoon!

For our honeymoon, Jarrett planned a nice little trip up to Jackson Hole. We stayed at the Four Seasons Resort. It was so stinking nice and wonderful. We rode up through Grand Teatons and Yellow Stone.
One evening we went up to Mammoth Hot Springs to watch the elk rut. We were eating dinner and noticed a bunch of cows come down the hill, then a big bull came down. He walked about three feet in front of Ryder and I (it was a little scarey!). Then he started bugeling and all of a sudden another big bull came down the hill. It was really neat to watch these two big bulls fight over the cows and bugle at each other. They never physically fought but it was really neat to see.
On our way back that night all of a sudden I could see hundreds of eyes. We had drove right in the middle of a huge herd of buffalo. It was crazy! They were everywhere. They are such huge animals and could careless that we were there.
We had a nice little trip. It was a much needed vacation!

Ryder's Blessing

Ryder was blessed Spetember 7th. He was blessed in Gunnison then we went to the park to eat. Most of the family was all still here from the wedding so there was a nice crowd. It was really nice to see all the love and support that this little boy has. One really neat thing is that Ryder is a 5 generation. So we took the opportunity to get a picture with his great, great grandma Sorenson. Ryder is such a sweet little boy. We love him so much and I am truly blessed to have him in my life!

Wedding

I've had a hard time finding time to update my blog, but I've had a few days off so I decided that today was the day to catch up. I still haven't got my wedding pictures back yet, and I can't figure out how to get them to work by pulling them off web so if you want to check them out I have a link to them.
The wedding was wonderful and so much fun. Jarrett and I got married Sept. 6th. We got married in my parents yard. It turned out really cute. My colors were pink and black polka-dots. My bridesmaids were Angie Jensen (friends since 3rd grade), Amber Mowers (friend from nursing school) and Kami Coates (now my little sis). I had four little flower girls Kodi and Jacie (Jarrett's neices) and Ashtyn and Bryndee (my little cousins). They looked so cute in their pink poka- dot dresses.
We found about 25 old doors and used those and old windows as the back drop and behind lots of things. My aunt Caroline did my cake and she did such a great job. The tables were decorated with black table clothes and old milk buckets with a pillar candle in the middle. We had a candy buffet and served hamburgers, watermelon, chips and brownies. My uncles were on the spot flipping burgers. We also had a live band and danced the night away. They weren't your typical wedding band, they played a lot of Lynard Skynard and ACDC. It was a lot of fun! Everything went well and it was a wonderful day!

Bridals

It was such a busy summer trying to plan a wedding (and all the many preparations that involves), get the yard ready, help remodel my parents house, buy and remodel a house for Jarrett and I, working on getting rid of my baby weight, going back to work at the end of the summer and being a mom, I kind of forgot about my bridal, plus I was worried about fitting into my dress cause I bought it last fall. So about 10 days before my wedding, my mom and I went out to Becks Mini Golf Course and took some pics. I was happy with the way they turned out and I had tons to choose from. My mom worked some magic with them on the computer and they were as great as ever. Here's a few for your viewing pleasure!
